Hi guys! Just a quick post to show you a little piece I did the other day. The fallen leaves and the trees look so beautiful at the moment, so I thought what better way to embrace Autumn than to incorporate them into my work! I said I'd better post up a photo sooner rather than later, as I'm pretty sure these leaves will have shrivelled up into nothing in a couple of days haha.
What do you think? :)

Thought I'd do something a little different on the blog today and share some of my favourite classic movies with you :) I'm guessing most people interested in film would recognise pretty much all of these, but if there's one or two you haven't seen..GO WATCH THEM! Especially Falling In Love- it's a love story between two of the best actors to walk the face of the earth(at least for me anyway), and it's set at Christmas. What more could you ask for in a movie??
Also, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is the best film in the world. Ever.
That is all.

Hey guys! A quick update to let you know that I've revamped my blog. I was getting a tad bored with how it looked so, I decided to give it a bit of a makeover. For those of you who aren't a major girly girl like myself, you may want to shield your eyes because it's probably going to look like Barbie got sick all over your computer screen haha!...What can I say, I love me some pink. The layout is much more suited to my personality anyway, it's quirky and playful and I do hope you like it :)
On another note, I nabbed myself yet another bargain, which I couldn't resist sharing with you all. I picked up these little beauts in Penneys (Primark) for a FIVER!! Seriously? I am very, very smug right now. They also had them in grey and pink, but I found them to be slightly tacky and cheap looking in comparison to the turquoise. I think they're absolutely fab, and they'll look great during the winter with a sexy LBD and some thick tights.
Ladies, go buy them. Quick!

I've been researching a tonne of artists for college, and there was one I came across that I just had to share! People, I have officially found my new obsession. Angelique Houtkamp is a dutch tattoo artist and painter who creates the most beeeautiful pieces I think I've ever seen. They couldn't be more up my street, ahhhh :) I'm sure plenty of people have already heard of her and seen her work, as she's very established in the tattoo world. I had seen the odd piece of flash popping up on google images but I never took the time to really delve into her artwork before now. Well folks, I'm happy to admit that I have truly been missing out!
Any other fans out there? I'm half considering booking myself a flight to Amsterdam to get in on some of that amazing ink haha!
I will make this last piece mine if it's the last thing I do! So bloody gorgeous.

Hi guys! I do apologise for the lack of posts recently, I'm pretty tied up during the week with coursework and at the weekends I'm far too busy catching up with everybody to get anywhere near a computer!
I thought I'd do a little review on Benefit's "They're Real" mascara, as it's a product with quite a lot of hype surrounding it, and also one that I've purchased on more than one occasion. I got the mascara for the first time last Christmas, and then again a couple of months ago. It's pretty pricey as far as mascaras go (around €24 I think, but please correct me if I'm wrong) so it's not a product that you'd permanently find in my makeup bag.
When I first used the mascara, I was pretty much blown away by it! My eyelashes looked incredibly long and I was constantly being asked if I was wearing falsies. Naturally, I was dying to get my hands on it again as soon as I had the funds, so I treated myself to it over the summer. However, this time my experience with it was disappointing to say the least.
Admittedly, my first couple of weeks using it were fab. I had the same effects as before, flaunting my new ridiculously long lashes at every chance I got! Alas, after a mere month the product started to dry up and stop doing it's job properly. I think I used it for about a month after that before it wasted completely, but for those four weeks the mascara was average at best...Certainly not worth paying almost €25 for! In fact, the mascara was probably empty after the first month, I just refused to believe I'd gotten such a short time out of it so I continued to scrape what little product I could find out of the tube. If it had been a cheaper mascara there's no doubt I would have given up on it much earlier and dumped it!
I'm not sure if I failed to notice the cons of this product the first time I used it because I got it as a gift and wasn't really thinking about it in terms of value for money, or if it has simply stopped working as well for me this time round. Whatever the case may be, I definitely won't be repurchasing the mascara again.
That's not to say that other people won't love it as much as I did originally, but for me personally, I'd expect my mascara to last me a lot longer than a month, no matter what the cost may be! I've used other cheaper mascaras since then and they do pretty much the same job for a fraction of the price.
Has anybody tried the mascara and had mixed reactions about it, or were you wowed by it in the same way I was the first time I used it? Or am I just a cheapskate who really should be buying mascara once a month haha?
